Hiya sort of excited about this forum and hope it'll pick up still.  I heard about The Nanny back in 2002 when everyone in my class in Germany was watching it lol I checked out one episode but really didn't like it (only remember seeing Fran and Sylvia lol). But then 5 years ago I re-discovered it and basically fell in love. Niles was the main reason for watching and then it gradually became Niles and C.C. So yeah...absolutely love Daniel Davis and Lauren Lane. And that's probably all there is to say for now |

Welcome to the forum  So, you're from Germany, too? Oh, I love Niles and C.C. Thought I have to admit, I like C.C. as a character but I am sure I wouldn't like her if I met her in real life... Daniel Davis is absolutely fantastic! So is Lauren Lane, of course, the two are absolute scene stealers and have a perfect chemistry. I love your icon, by the way |

And yes, Gilmore Girls absolutely!I do like The Lion King a lot (both the movies and the musical) but I wouldn't call myself a fan...I am not that invested. Ilja I found because of the Lion King though...always loved his voice and Nathan actually because of The Birdcage and The Producers, that he voiced Timon in English was just a funny coincidence.

Gilmore Girls is a great show! Even though I have to say, I don't feel as connected to the characters as I do with The Nanny. Probably, because in many aspects I see Gilmore Girls more as a critique or at least a kind of... mirror of society. Still, it's probably my second favourite show right after... GUESS WHAT SHOW ;D It's so witty and funny and definitely complex. Anyways, I watch Gilmore Girls every Sunday and The Nanny every Monday on Disney Channel ♥ My favourite character in GG is, by the way, Jess.

Yeah, Germany is big on the reruns...lots of fans in Argentina, too. Here in the UK (where I live) most people don't know it.
Re: Gilmore Girls. It's definitely not my favourite show but I am attached to it. I love Luke and Lorelai and also Emily. Jess was always my favourite of "the boys".

I enjoy Emily as a character, mainly beause of Kelly Bishop's brilliance, but I can't say I "like" her. Personally, there's alot about him that I dislike.

I'm not sure whether it did or not because there were 2 people in my Uni class that knew the Nanny. So it must've aired at some point lol I do think I actually like her...I didn't when I first watched it but as I got older (that makes me sound ancient lol) I did get to like her. She's very conflicted and that's probably due to her upbringing...so she's underhanded and manipulative because she doesn't know how to relate otherwise. So I do think she must be...a pain to deal with  but somehow I do like her. She's a softer version of BB Babcock in my head lol |

Yes, that's surely right. I think, while Richard is more comfortable to deal with than bity Emily, in situations when it really matters, she's the one to rely on and certainly not him. Do you know Dharma & Greg? Richard and Emily remind me of milder versions of Edward and Kitty Montgomery ;D But Kitty Montgomery reminds me of an older CC. I think Susan Sullivan and Lauren Lane would be perfect doing a mother-daughter two women show in the theatre... Even their names fit perfectly ;D
